Cantilever Umbrella

The cantilever umbrella is actually an offset umbrella. The difference is that it uses a handy crank or winch like system to move the umbrella.  This makes the cantilever umbrella easier to maneuver and takes much of the muscling out of umbrella movement.

The downside is that there is a little added cost to the overall purchase price.  When buying a cantilever umbrella, the quality of the crank is imperative.

Check to see what kind of steel the crank is made out of and the size of the crank handle before purchasing.
